The Wellspring has four clear objectives, which are at the heart of everything we do :
Since its modest beginnings in 1991, The Wellspring has been serving homeless and disadvantaged men and women in Stockport, 365 days a year. Today, in 2010 The Wellspring has over 3000 members needing help. The Wellspring has evolved from a basic soup kitchen to a place where many services are available. From housing to health issues, educational courses, support planning and much more.
The Wellspring offers many services and initiatives to its members from a Women's Group to IT training and Maths and English courses. The Wellspring offers support to those who need it the most. We are always looking for Project Sponsors, so please contact us to discuss further or make a appointment to come and see what we do. You can email us at thewellspring@btconnect.com or telephone 0161-477-6344
Donations You can also donate online at www.justgiving.com/thewellspring/donate Staff fundraising events Staff in your organisation can feel motivated and inspired by supporting a common cause. We can offer support with fundraising events by giving presentations or maybe we could assist with fundraising ideas for your event. The important thing for us, is that you are willing to help, so we will help if you wish. We may also be able to publicise your event to gain maximum exposure. Payroll giving Please contact your company's payroll department. If they don't have a payroll giving scheme, we can help by putting them in touch with an approved payroll giving agency. Cause related marketing This allows you to make your customers directly aware of your relationship with The Wellspring whilst meeting your CSR objectives and supporting homeless people. Charitable Trusts and Foundations Support from Trusts and Foundations is essential to maintaining services at The Wellspring. If you have links to a trust or foundation then we would be delighted to hear from you. The Wellspring is very proud to be supported by :
